What the verification confirms — and what it does not

The verification page shows the data recorded at issuance, frozen from that moment on. Here is exactly what you learn from it.

It confirms

  • The issuer: GALIAN SOFTWARE DEVELOPMENT SRL, operator of the Cursuri-AI.ro platform
  • The course, the curriculum version and the competencies it covers
  • The completion date and the issuance date
  • Lessons completed, average assessment score, study time and the level awarded
  • The current status: valid, or revoked together with the revocation date
  • The holder’s name — only if they chose to show it

It does not confirm

  • A diploma or study document under Romanian Laws 198/2023 and 199/2023
  • A professional qualification under Government Ordinance 129/2000, or recognition by the National Qualifications Authority (ANC) or the Ministry of Education
  • A right to practise a regulated profession
  • The identity of the person showing you the document — compare the displayed name with an ID

How to read the result

Three possible answers, and the level printed on every certificate.

  • Authenticated · Valid

    The certificate is in the register and has not been revoked. The data on the verification page are the reference, not those in the PDF.

  • Revoked

    It was issued, then withdrawn by the issuer — for example at the holder’s request or after an irregularity was found. It no longer attests completion.

  • Not found

    The number does not exist in the register. Check the digits; if they are correct, the document was not issued by us.

Set by the average score on the course quizzes. Courses without quizzes receive the Pass level.

Frequently asked questions

What recruiters and holders ask most often about checking a certificate.

How do I verify a Cursuri AI certificate?

Enter the certificate number (format CAI-YYYY-NNNNNN) in the field on this page, or paste the verification link printed on the document. You can also scan the QR code with a phone camera. Verification costs nothing and needs no account.

Where do I find the certificate number?

On the PDF, in the top-right corner, next to “Serial №”. The holder also finds it in their account and in the email received when the certificate was issued.

Why is the holder’s name not shown?

The name is displayed publicly only if the holder consented to it (art. 6(1)(a) GDPR). Without consent, the page shows the course, the dates, the results and the status, but not the name. If you need the name, ask the holder to turn on public display from their account; they can withdraw it at any time.

What does a revoked certificate mean?

The certificate was issued and later withdrawn by the issuer: at the holder’s request, after an irregularity was found in how the course was completed, following a final court decision or after a confirmed processing error. From that moment the verification page shows the status “revoked” and the revocation date, and the document no longer attests completion.

What is the legal status of the certificate?

It is a private attestation that the holder completed the course on the platform and reached the minimum assessment thresholds. It is not a diploma under Romanian Laws 198/2023 or 199/2023, not a professional qualification certificate under Government Ordinance 129/2000 and is not recognised by the National Qualifications Authority (ANC). Does a certificate expire?

No. It attests something that has already happened, so it stays valid after the subscription ends, for as long as it is not revoked. The register of issued certificates is kept indefinitely.

Can I verify certificates automatically, from an ATS or HRIS?

Yes. Every certificate has a public JSON summary at /api/verify/{hash} and a JSON-LD version in the W3C Verifiable Credentials data model; the hash is the last part of the verification link. The JSON summary contains only the public fields, the status and a data-integrity flag; the JSON-LD version links to the status. The OpenAPI specification describes both endpoints.

What should I do if I suspect a certificate is forged?

Compare the document you received with the verification page: if the name, the course or the dates differ, or the number is not in the register, the document is not the one we issued. Write to us at contact@cursuri-ai.ro with the number and the details and we will check the register.

The documents verified here are private attestations of course completion. They are NOT diplomas or study documents under Romanian Laws 198/2023 and 199/2023, nor professional qualification certificates under Government Ordinance 129/2000, and are not recognised by the National Qualifications Authority (ANC) or the Ministry of Education; employers may take them into account at their own discretion.
